The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) convened its monthly meeting at the DC’s Conference Hall in Tuensang on Friday, DIPR stated. The meeting was chaired by Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, Deputy Commissioner, and Vice Chairman of DPDB Tuensang.

During the meeting, the Chairman extended a request to the Department of Agriculture and its allied branches to verify the extent of damage to fields and properties caused by this year’s monsoon, and to carry out geotagging of affected areas. This initiative aims to provide necessary assistance to the affected populace.

Earlier, the Board began by reviewing the minutes of the previous month’s gathering. Subsequently, discussions centered around the establishment of a verification committee for four Assembly Constituencies, specifically for the Local Area Development Program (LADP) Schemes for the year 2023.
