The Tuensang District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on the 14th May, 2024 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, A. Zibenthung Kithan, NCS at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang.

During the course of the meeting, the DC extended his gratitude for the active participation of the Departments during the conduct of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 and further requested the office heads to remain in their respective station.

Er. Kedolhuto Punyu, E.E PHED brought to light the recent conclusion of the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games in which Tuensang District won 9 medals and certificate of participation was also distributed to the participants. He expressed his gratitude to the office heads for their valuable contribution in kind and cash. He also conveyed his appreciation to Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, former Deputy Commissioner.

Sangthing Khiam, DLRSO also addressed the meeting requesting the Departments that are yet to get land patta of their office and staff quarters to do so at the earliest.

Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC Tuensang urged the members to submit Government vehicle details for the upcoming Municipal Election. The Board also forwarded for the creation of SDAO Office at Noksen Sub-Division.

The House recommended for society registration of Mithun Farming Association of Nyinyem Village and SB-GEN Welfare Society Yangpi Village.
