Tuensang: Board approves Iconic Project for the Four Assembly Constituencies

Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, Vice Chairman DPDB and Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, chaired the monthly meeting of Tuensang District Planning and Development Board on Friday at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang, DIPR informed.

After reviewing last month’s meeting minutes, the Board discussed the agenda for allotment of opening a dispensary at NST Ward where it was forwarded to the Medical department for consideration and ratification.

The Board also deliberated on the creation of a new Government School at Yungphang Village where it was decided that before endorsing to the higher authority, the Sr. SDEO was entrusted to survey and submit the report to the DPDB after two months.

Further, the house approved LADP, and Iconic Project for the four Assembly Constituencies of 51 Noksen, 52 Longkhim-Chare, 53 Tuensang Sadar I, and 54 Tuensang Sadar- II of Tuensang District for the year 2023-2024.

Activities on Urban Development Department, DAPCU, and TB Elimination Programme were presented.

The DPDB also welcomed new members- Rohbi Sangtam, SDO (Civil) Noksen, and Ebou Chang, BDO Sangsangnyu Block.
