Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting on Thursday at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang under the chairmanship of Imtichuba Chang, MLA and Chairman of DBDP Tuensang, DIPR said.

The Board discussed the T. Ao Trophy to be held at Tuensang in October 2023 and also on the contributions of heads of offices’ towards Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA).

Reviewing the last month’s meeting minutes, the Board recommended for the upgradation of Government Middle School, 3rd NAP Saksi to Government High School after bringing forward the enrolment of students from NAP Sector and three nearby villages.

The Board recommended for registration of Sangle Yangmai Society and Soteria Welfare Society Tuensang, and also recommended for change of school nomenclature from Government Primary School, MKG-Noksen Road to GPS Eshou.

PowerPoint Presentation on departmental activities was delivered by Transport Department, wherein it highlighted the department’s activities like issuing of Driving Licence, Learners’ Licence, Vehicle Registration, Enforcement and Road safety in the district.
