Reflecting on the emotional impact of the visit, he remarked, “Life doesn’t always go as planned and sometimes we face challenges that prevent us from understanding the difficulties others go through. Visiting children’s homes can ease depression and frustration—it gives life a new meaning.”
In an encouraging message to the children, Bongsuyimlong reminded them that greatness comes from humility and belief in oneself. “What makes people great is not what they have, but their kindness, hard work, and dreams. You are cared for, seen, and loved. The staff here love you as their own and are helping mould you into capable and successful individuals,” he said.
His visit has left a lasting impression on the children and staff of Kohdi Children Home, highlighting the importance of compassion, community involvement, and spreading hope through small acts of kindness.
