Tuli Sub-Division distributes bicycles

In a major boost to female education in Tuli Sub-Division, the District Administration, Mokokchung, conducted a bicycle distribution programme on December 9. The initiative, titled “Pedaling towards a brighter future” aims to minimize commuting challenges faced by girl students from economically weaker sections.

The program was carried out under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the State Bank of India “Empowering Education.” Under this initiative, bicycles were distributed to girl students belonging to the economically weaker sections from Government High School (GHS) Tuli and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Tzudikong, Tuli.

Speaking at the event, officials from the District Administration expressed gratitude to the State Bank of India, particularly the Guwahati CSR team led by the AGM (CSR) and the Regional Manager, RBO Mokokchung, for their generous support.

The administration also called for collective cooperation in building a society where no child is restricted by lack of resources, where every young person has the opportunity to advance, both literally and figuratively.
