Two bank employees arrested in Wokha for alleged fraud

Wokha: Case registered at Wokha PS and investigation is ongoing, says Police

Wokha Police has said that it has arrested two employees of a bank on the charges of alleged “fraud and cheating”. While disclosing the photo of the accused, the police also informed that a case has been registered at Wokha Police Station and that investigation was ongoing.

It has been learned that the accused are Thundemo K Murry and Lochumbeni M. Erui and both are residents of Borlengri, Dimapur. The accused are in their early 30s and are employees of Axis Bank, it has been reported.

According to sources, the case concerns an amount of around Rs 14 lakh. However, this remains unconfirmed.
