Two persons including a pastor from Wokha district were killed and one was seriously injured in a crash between a truck and hatchback vehicle on the road of Hollokhowa under Borpathar Station, Karbi-Anglong on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Rev Ellis Humstoe, Pastor, United Baptist Church, Doyang and Myinthungben while the injured is said to be one Oponlumi Kikon. The occupants of the hatchback were reportedly returning to Doyang after an excursion to Sikkim.

The deceased were declared spot-dead while the critically injured person was taken to Bokajan Community Health Centre from where she was referred to Dimapur.
