Two students, one teacher from Nagaland to attend Pariksha Pe Charcha with PM Modi

Dimapur: About 2,400 students will participate in the interaction with the Prime Minister on various topics related to life and exams

A team of two students and a teacher left for New Delhi today to participate in the Pariksha Pe Charcha, a programme where students, teachers and parents interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various topics related to life and exams.

Visali Z Sangtam, a Class 11 student of Livingstone Foundation International School, Dimapur, Hansuja Medhi, a student of Class 10 at Delhi Public School, Dimapur, and Mompy Boruah, a teacher at Army Public School, Rangapahar, were seen off by B Nellayappan, Deputy Director, School Education & Nodal Officer, PPC 2023 at Dimapur Airport on Wednesday morning.

PPC 2023 will be the 6th Edition, having started in 2018 by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.

The programme will be held at 11am on 27 January at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi and will be telecasted live on Door Darshan and other major TV channels.

On Tuesday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique and popular initiative by PM Modi that has enhanced students’ self-confidence, helped them manage stress and be healthy and fit.

Pradhan announced that about 2,400 students will participate in the interaction and at the same time, crores of students will watch the programme live from their respective schools.

The Minister also said that about 38.80 Lakh registrations from 155 countries have taken place this year, out of which more than 16 lakhs are from State Boards. This is more than two times higher than the registrations (15.73 lakh) which took place during PPC 2022, he added.

Pradhan further informed that about 20 lakh questions have been received and NCERT has shortlisted questions on various topics ranging from Family pressure, stress management, prevention of unfair means, how to stay healthy and fit, career selection etc.
