Mariani: TKM urges contractor’s engineers not to compromise on quality of road

A team from the Tzurangkong Students’ Conference (TKM), alongside the Junior Engineer of the Border Roads Organization (BRO), conducted an inspection of the ongoing road construction project on NH 702D, specifically from the 10 km to 20 km stretch, today.

The construction work, which is being carried out by Ganpati Bharat Pvt Ltd, aims to upgrade this critical section of the highway. During the inspection, the TKM team, led by its members, met with the Junior Engineer from the contractor’s team to assess the progress and quality of the work.

While touring the site, the TKM representatives emphasized the importance of maintaining high construction standards and urged the contractor’s engineers not to compromise on the quality of the road. “Quality is paramount,” said a TKM spokesperson, “and we will ensure strict supervision throughout the construction process to maintain the integrity of the project.”

The TKM has vowed to actively monitor the development, reinforcing their commitment to ensuring the road is built to the highest standards for the benefit of the public and the long-term usability of the infrastructure.
