ULB election 2024: Nomination news from Mon, Peren, Jalukie, Pungro

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS has informed that that in view of the Nomination Papers received from only 1 (one) candidate against each ward under Tizit, Aboi and Nagimora Town Council for the upcoming ULB elections, the electioneering process of trainings and medical board stands unfounded.

Therefore, in view of the above all scheduled trainings and medical board is hereby postponed until further notice.

16 CANDIDATES FILE NOMINATION FOR ULB ELECTIONS IN PEREN

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) & Returning Officer (RO) Peren Town Council, Japheth Woch has informed that a total of sixteen (16) candidates have filed their nomination papers for the upcoming ULB Election to Peren Town Council as on 10th June 2024, from the Office of ADC Peren.

21 CANDIDATES FILED NOMINATION UNDER JALUKIE TOWN COUNCIL

All together 21 candidates from various political parties have filed their nomination papers for ULB election to Jalukie Town council at ADC & RO office, Jalukie till the last date of nomination. 9 candidates from NDPP, 4 candidates from Congress and 8 Independent candidates will be contesting ULB elections under Jalukie Town Council.

Eight candidates file nomination in Pungro Town, Kiphire

Eight candidates filed their nomination papers for the upcoming ULB election on 11th June 2024 at the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer, Pungro Town Council. Six candidates filed under ‘unreserved category’ while two women candidates under ‘reserved seat’. All the eight candidates are from NDPP.
