The results of the elections to the Mokokchung Municipal Council, Mangkolemba Town Council, Tuli Town Council and Changtongya Town Council were declared on 29th June 2024 with the NDPP securing impressive number of seats, especially in the MMC where it won in 15 Wards out of 18.

The polls for the Urban Local Bodies were conducted on 26th June 2024, after 20 years, and with 33% reservation for women for the first time.
