The Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS) has issued a notification strictly prohibiting opening of any kind of Mess / Canteen for campaign purpose during the forthcoming ULB elections 2024, by the contesting candidates and political parties under ULBs i.e, Zunheboto, Satakha, Aghunato and Atoizu Town Councils under Zunheboto district.

The order further stated that, failure to adhere to the order shall invite necessary action as per the Representation of Peoples Act 1951 and Nagaland Municipal Act 2023.
