Tseminyu: Union Minister agrees to take up construction of district court

Union Minister of State for Law & Justice ((Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Arjun Ram Meghwal visited Tseminyu and held a meeting with at DC’s conference hall, Tseminyu on 22nd October 2024.

The Union Minister is on a two-day visit to Nagaland and was accorded ‘Guard of Honour’ on his arrival at Tseminyu on 22nd October.

In his interaction with various organisations, Meghwal emphasised on the need for more brances of banks and encouraged the citizens to open bank accounts for transactions under centrally sponsored schemes. He also stated that farmers can get access and due share in regards to any farmers centrally sponsored scheme.

The Union Minister further agreed to take up construction of district court at Tseminyu and also to sanction amount for construction of district hospital and Tseminyu Town roads. In the meeting. he asked the representative to send proposal for cultural complex.

Later Meghwal also visited K. Station village and interacted with the villagers. The Minister was accompanied by his Addl. PS, RK Mishra, Advisor of Law & Justice, TN. Manen, Commissioner Secretary Law Justice and MLA & Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar. Jwenga Seb.
