Ura Academy to conduct 54th Tenyidie Annual Seminar from 30-31 May

The Ura Academy 54th Tenyidie Annual Seminar will be held from 30-31 May 2024 under theme ‘Language our identity’ at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima, the Ura Academy has informed on Sunday.

The press release informed that the inaugural session will take place on 30 May 2024 morning at 9:30 am with the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) as Guest of Honour and Dr Visier Sanyü as the speaker.

The inaugural session will be marked by lighting of the Ura Academy lamp and also presentation of Ura Academy meritorious awards for Tenyidie subject/ studies and music.

The session will be followed by Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) Conclave where Vizonyü Liezietsu will address the programme.

Further, competitions will be held for Solo, Story Writing, Essay Writing and Poetry writing later in the afternoon among high school and higher secondary school students.

On 31st May, in the morning hours, the Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo Seminar will be held with Dr Medongulie Tsiekhanuo addressing the gathering. In the afternoon, the Department of Tenyidie, Nagaland University will have a research paper presentation session.

Accordingly, later in the evening, the valedictory function will be graced by the Angami Public Organization (APO) as Guest of Honour while Rev Kiezotuo will the speaker. Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu will deliver the Presidential address at the function.

The Ura Academy has requested all Tenyidie well-wishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, student bodies and organisations to be a part of its 54th Tenyidie Annual Seminar.
