The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has on Monday submitted a representation to the Advisor for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs requesting for blacktopping of access road leading to Zisaji Presidency College in Kiphire. Pointing out that the condition of the road is “posing significant challenges” for the students, USSC stressed that it is a matter of urgency.

USSC Executive Chairman Aketo V Sangtam and President Sethrongba Y Sangtam mentioned that the road which is daily used by the students of ZPC is in a deteriorating condition and threatens their safety and wellbeing.

The student body urged the Advisor to prioritize investing in the road at the earliest possible time to ensure a secure and reliable commute to the college and facilitate overall development.
