The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has expressed strong objection to the continued absence of a Field Officer (FO) at the State Bank of India (SBI), Kiphire Branch. In a letter addressed to the Assistant General Manager of SBI’s Regional Branch Office in Dimapur, the USSC highlighted concerns over the impact of this absence on the district’s populace.

In the letter USSC stated that the lack of a Field Officer in a district headquarter like Kiphire for an extended period raises questions on the treatment of the district. The USSC emphasized that the absence has caused hardships and inconveniences to customers, despite Kiphire being a remote part of the state that requires constant administrative and financial attention.

The USSC warned that the continued negligence in addressing this issue undermines trust in the institution and hampers branch efficiency.

Should the matter remain unresolved, the organization hinted at taking further action.

The USSC urged concerned authorities to take immediate corrective measures to deploy a competent field officer without delay.
