USSC urges govt employees posted in Sangtam area to be regular at work

Kiphire: USSC stated ‘grievances faced by the general public’ has forced it to bring out the directives

The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC), on Monday, asked all departments and offices in the Sangtam area to maintain attendance registers to ensure that government employees posted in the region are regular in their assigned duties.

It also directed all head of departments and employees to reside at their ‘respective places of posting and provide their regular services to its citizens.’

USSC stated ‘grievances faced by the general public’ has forced it to bring out the directives.

The Conference further stated, ‘Failing to adhere to the above-mentioned directive the conference shall invite stringent action against the erring employees as per the “Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules, under “No Work No Pay” without further notice.’
