VDB Shishimi Village takes Nasha Mukti Sankalp pledge for drug-free society

Kiphire: Village receives Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan certification from Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment

The Village Development Board (VDB) of Shishimi Village, Kiphire District, has undertaken the Nasha Mukti Sankalp pledge, affirming its commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and has joined the ranks of individuals who are dedicated to creating a healthier and more productive society.

“Together, we can create a brighter, healthier future for ourselves and for generations to come”, the VDB Secy, Shishimi Village asserted.

Upon taking the pledge, the VDB received the Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan certification from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, on 13th August 2024.

Further, through this initiative, the citizens of Shishimi Village have dedicated to serve as an inspiration to others and demonstrate the power of collective action in achieving social change.

The Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug-Free India Mission), launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, is a nationwide initiative that aims to empower individuals and communities to live a life free from the shackles of drug addiction. It seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, provide support and resources for those struggling with addiction, and promote a culture of sobriety.
