The new team of office bearers of Chokri Chakhesang Literature Board (CCLB) assumed office today at the CCLB office, Kohima, which was attended by both outgoing and incoming officials.
According to CCLB Media Secretary, Kuzhovesa Soho, the house expressed gratitude to the outgoing Chairman, Ariyi Nienu for his tireless efforts towards the Board by taking up and bringing immense development activities for the promotion of the literature board.
Ariyi Nienu held the office for the fourth tenure.
Nienu thanked the entire Chokri speaking people for reposing faith in him to serve the office for such duration of time despite his weaknesses and shortcomings and urged all Chokrimi to render unflinching support and cooperation towards the Board for the further promotion of Chokri literature.
Incoming Chairman, Vekhozo Ringa, while accepting the new assignment, assured to work for the promotion of Chokri literature with utmost care and dedication. He further urged the Chokrimi to lend unconditional support and cooperation in his future endeavours.
All related files hold by the officials were handed over and taken over in a short ceremony.
Financial status of the office from 24-05-2022 to 18-07-2025 was presented by Treasurer, Kuvesho Tetseo and the house appreciated the report presented by the Treasurer.
