Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Bhumnyu, Longleng

In a momentous gathering at the Bhumnyu Village Council Hall, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was commemorated on December 11, at Bhumnyu Village Council Hall, informed the DIPR. Commencing with the screening of the Sankalp (Pledge) video for the Viksit Bharat Opening Movie and a recorded message from the Prime Minister, the event proved to be a noteworthy occasion.

In his keynote address C.P.S Bakshi, IRS, Jt. Secy, Ministry of Minority Affairs and District Prabhari Officer VBSY to Longleng, expressed gratitude for the warm reception. He underscored the significance of Viksit Bharat, urging participants to capitalize on the various flagship schemes offered by the Government of India. Bakshi said that the event aimed to empower the community through heightened awareness and accessibility to government schemes. He further mentioned that the collaborative efforts of the Bhumnyu Village Council, various departments, and active participant engagement culminated in the resounding success of the program.

The Programme was chaired by Hilo, VDB Secretary and the welcome address proposed by Angam, Bhumnyu Village Chairman

The highlights of the event was the presentation on a thorough exploration of the Viksit Bharat initiative; Meri Kahani Meri Zubani (Personal Narratives) by Self-Help Group (NSRLM); PMJAY Beneficiary and Cultural Extravaganza; Satat Krishi Activities (Focused Session on Sustainable Agricultural Activities) and dedicated discourse promoting sustainable agricultural practices. On-spot Service, Health Camp, and PMMVY special registration drive were also held.

The department of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fishery, PHE, Social Welfare, Soil & Water Conservation were present at the programme.
