Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programs held in Niuland and Zunheboto districts

Kohima: On-spot registration and services for various schemes conducted at VBSY events

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event held on 15th January 2024

The Niuland District Administration organised Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Niuland (Urban) at Niuland Clock Tower on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Sara S Jamir attended the event as the Special Guest and in her speech highlighted various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and encouraged the people to come forward and avail the benefits, DIPR said in a report.

Recorded message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was played during the program. Registration for schemes such as Ayushman Bharat/ Health Camp, Ujjawala 2.0, PM SVANidhi and PMJJBY/ PMSBY/APY were also conducted during the event.

ADC Niuland, S. Athsangla delivered the welcome address while Vitoka Yepthomi EAC chaired the program.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event at Zunheboto on 13th January 2024

DIPR also informed that earlier on 13th January 2024, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra urban van reached Zunheboto district. A program was held which was graced by Additional Secretary DOPT and State Prabhari officer VBSY Nagaland, Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, IAS as the Special Guest.

Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, IAS in his speech said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is the most ambitious and promising program to achieve the aim of self-reliant and make India a developed nation by 2047. He stated that people should remove colonial thinking and respect people who protect us and to perform our duties as a responsible citizen.

Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS in his welcome address thanked Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra for his visit to Zunheboto and highlighted to the congregation that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was a nation-wide campaign aimed to raise awareness through outreach activities and to make all the population of the country aware of the various schemes of the government of India. He added that in order to avail the benefits all eligible and potential beneficiaries must open bank accounts and acquire Aadhaar cards to getting themselves enrolled.

The other highlights of the event included listening to recorded message of Prime Minister of India and followed by Sankalp (pledge) video for Viksit Bharat. It was followed by Meri Kahani Meri Zubani by PMAY(U), PMSVANidhi and SBMIHHL where the beneficiaries shared their success stories. On-spot registration and services for various schemes like PMSVANidhi, Ujjwala Yojna, Aayushman Bharat, Aadhaar registration, medical check-up and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna was also conducted.
