The Village Congress Committee (VCC) Treasurer Dedication Programme was held with solemnity and thanksgiving on Saturday at Imsutemjen, near the Church in Chare Town. The event was marked by prayers, words of encouragement, and a reaffirmation of commitment to faithful service under the Congress banner.
The programme was chaired by Longdilong, AGS (Youth), and opened with an invocation prayer led by Yangthsingli, Pastor of CTBL. A warm welcome address was delivered by B Toshi, Joint Secretary of the ACC, setting the tone for a gathering focused on dedication and responsibility.
In his address, Chotsase, President of the DCC, reminded those present that dedication must translate into faithful service and urged the members to stand firm in loyalty and discipline.
Rangkha, representing the PCC, highlighted the importance of unity among party workers and stressed the need to strengthen the Congress at the grassroots level so that it continues to reflect the voice and aspirations of the people.

Sekhamong, President 52 A/C LKM–Chare encouraged the treasurer to carry out responsibilities with honesty and transparency, as finances is the backbone of organizational trust.
Speakers collectively emphasized that the treasurer’s dedication is not merely ceremonial but a spiritual and moral commitment to serve the people with integrity, humility, and accountability.
The programme concluded with a benediction prayer offered by the congregation, blessing the newly dedicated treasurer and all those present. The occasion was not only a spiritual moment but also a reaffirmation of the VCC’s resolve to uphold the values of service, unity, and progress in Chare Town under the Congress banner.
