Vinika Kiho, Public Prosecutor CBI felicitated by EESU

Zunheboto: Vinika Kiho who recently cleared the CBI PP exams conducted by UPSC was awarded a cash award of Rupees three lakhs during the felicitation program organised by ESSU at Aghunato Town Baptist Church

Following the commitment made during the 40th Eastern Sumi Students’ Union conference held at Phulesheto Village Hukiye N. Tissica, Proprietor M/S Naga construction on 15 September 2022, Vinika Kiho who recently cleared the CBI PP exams conducted by UPSC was awarded a cash award of Rupees three lakhs during the felicitation program organised by ESSU at Aghunato Town Baptist Church.

Hukiye N. Tissica speaking during the programme said, material gifts was not that important but encouraging young minds was, and at this era of change, without clearing competitive exam there is less or no chance for youth to get a job.

He added that God has created every being with the ability to earn for their own livelihood and that even if one cannot crack competitive exams, the young minds can use their education wisely in a resourceful way.

He further said that youths can also earn their living as agriprenuer and also be an entrepreneur.

He called upon Vinika Kiho and urged her to keep praying for youths of Aghunato asking God to bless them like she has been blessed.

Vinika Kiho, Public Prosecutor, CBI also spoke during the felicitation programme and expressed her feeling of nostalgic being back in Aghunato Town Baptist church. She shared how she was raised in a Christian family and that much of their time was spent praying.

further calling on the parents present in the event citing an example of her parents who supported her through thick and thin, Vinika added that she was more motivated to succeed looking at theher hard working parents and their encouragement.

Vinika called upon the youth to set a goal and always try harder while urging them to step out from their comfort zone and to aim big quoting, “aim for the moon and you will land among the stars.”

She recalled the discouragement she faced during her studies in Delhi, however she kept going working extra hard and extra time and that her colleagues would tease her but she paid no heed.

While doubting herself when she was preparing for her studies, she would be reminded of Matthew 7:7 and Isaiah 55:8-9. She further called on the congregation to always keep God first and he will lead them to a better place.

Earlier the programme was chaired by Kiboto Sumi, Vice President, ESSU, welcome note was delivered by Ghuvika Yepthomi, President, ESSU, Invocationn was pronounced by Vishito Yeptho, Pastor ATBC Aizuto, special number presented by Eden Boarding school, vote of thanks proposed by Vihepu Yepthomi, AGS, ESSU and concluded with a benediction said by Atoho Z chophy, Pastor, PBC.
