The 25th anniversary celebration of Razeba Town Chakhesang Students Union (RTCSU) was held on December 29 at Razeba Local Ground. Kudecho Khamo, Advisor for CAWD and Taxes graced the occasion as the Special Guest where he unveiled the monolith to commemorate the occasion, and a souvenir was also released.

In his speech, Khamo underscored that it is essential for youngsters to stay well-prepared and competent in today’s fast-paced world. Taking one’s chosen profession seriously is crucial for success, noted the Advisor.

Reflecting on the struggles and turbulence in the past Nagaland which caused hindrances for venturing into business and other fields, Khamo encouraged the younger generation to grasp the opportunity with peace prevailing in the State.

With the Government of the day advocating for meritocracy, the Advisor stated that it has now become impossible for youngsters to get a job without appearing for competitive examinations. He, therefore, advised the students to be hardworking and determined.

Khamo cited the various initiatives of the Department of school education such as rationalization of schools, redeployment of teachers, and exercises to curb the proxy culture. In this regard, the Advisor urged the student bodies to assert the rights of students and also support the interest of the school to bring about positive changes for the future or the students.

“No force can stop a person if one decides to pursue with ‘I Will’,” said Khamo, urging the student leaders and parents to guide the youngsters to choose a proper career, and nurture their upbringing to build upright citizens who can contribute positively to society.
