A career guidance initiative organised by the Western Angami Students’ Union (WASU) in collaboration with the Western Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho was held on March 25 at the AWO Building in Kohima.
Kepelhoutuo Chüsi, President, Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO) exhorted the students, mentioning that they should not complain about the environment but instead should strive and compete to achieve their dreams. Meanwhile, Rokovisa Chase, WAGOK President addressed the students, highlighting the importance of building the right character to achieve goals and discussing the competitiveness of government jobs.
Kevilhoukho Lhousa, SDO Water Resource Department, Kelengoto William Soleho, Proprietor, Magdaline Coaching Center and Kejalhuto Punyü, Proprietor, Hiekha Coaching Centre were the speakers for the resource sessions.

Kevilhoukho Lhousa encouraged the students to build a strong foundation, analyze their social skills, and balance extracurricular activities. Kelengoto William Soleho focused on the need to develop skills to work in the private sector and urged students to choose their careers wisely. Meanwhile, Kejalhuto Punyü highlighted insights into the scope and guidance related to different streams and competitive exams.
The program was chaired by Ketouneikho Yavio, Vice President of WASU while the keynote address was delivered by Mhiesisekho, President, WASU. An invocation was pronounced by Visebii Gwirie, WAWO President and the vote of thanks was presented by Vikehielie Kruse, Info & Publicity WASU.
