The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Dimapur Rural Division, has notified the public about a disruption in water supply following damage to pipelines caused by the ongoing foothill road widening project undertaken by the PWD (R&B) Department.

According to Executive Engineer Er. Nirie-e Nisa, the disruption will continue until the damaged lines are fully repaired. The areas affected include three colonies in Niuland Town, the NAP Station, District Hospital, and Viyito village.

The PHED has urged residents and affected consumers to bear with the department during this period of inconvenience and assured that efforts are underway to restore normal supply as soon as possible.
