The water supply to Niuland town which was accidentally damaged on October 25 during maintenance work carried out by the PWD R&B, Dimapur Division along the Niuland-Zhadima road at 4th km, has been restored.

Despite PHED demarcating the pipes laid along the road, the accidental damage was caused while dumping of debris on the valley side which disrupted the town water supply.
