SDO PHED Kohima Urban Division, Er Ahito K Awomi has informed the public within Kohima Municipal jurisdiction that due to emergency mainline repair works following a landslide at Jotsoma village and ongoing developmental works at Phoolbari near PHED Service Reservoir, as well as damage to the Mainline at Phesama village caused by sinking, water supply is temporarily disrupted.

He stated that the PHED Urban Division is actively working with the District Administration for necessary redressal at the earliest. The Division has requested the water supply consumers to bear with the inconveniences.

The Water supply is expected to resume by October 27.
