The Water & Sanitation (WATSAN) Committee, Dimapur Urban Division has reiterated its stand on the implementation of Civil works under Jal Jeevan Mission Program. In a press statement issued earlier, the committee maintained that the civil works under JJM were being supervised and successfully implemented by respective village committees and were now awaiting release of the pending bills for the works completed. It also said that it would hold the NTPRADAO responsible if the Ministry of Jal Shakti withholds the funds due to the allegations.

On 19th December 2024, the Mughavi Chishi, Chairman, WATSAN Committee, Thahekhu Village, stated, “The WATSAN Committee Dimapur Division is of the view that the NTPRADAO is a self style organization and the recent rambling amongst its members had once again expose its true colour and such organization should be out rightly condemned and rejected by the general public and further urge the general public to disregard baseless allegation and appeal to stand united against unwarranted allegations that could harm communal harmony.”
