Action-packed encounters marked the second day of the Winter Cricket Challenge (WCC) T20 as Dashing Dudes and Lancer CC emerged victorious in their respective matches at the Public Ground, Wokha.
Dashing Dudes Wokha Village opened the day against Elite CC, who chose to bat first after winning the toss. Elite CC put up a total of 141 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, with skipper Tapitu top-scoring with 46 runs. Seyievizo added 20, while Kelhousielie contributed 18 towards the end of the innings.
The chase was dominated by Dashing Dudes opener Vishal Kumar, whose aggressive 74-run knock laid the foundation for an easy win. Lironthung added 25 runs as Dashing Dudes reached the target in the 18th over. Vishal Kumar was named man of the match.

In the second fixture, Rising Star set a challenging total of 201 for 8 against Lancer CC. Hiketo Aye scored a brisk 63 off 39 balls, while Shamphri Terang entertained the crowd with a quickfire 72 off 25 deliveries.
Despite the strong total, Rising Star failed to defend their score as Lancer CC bowled with discipline and control, restricting the opposition to 138 for 9 in 20 overs. Chonben (24) and Avinash (25) provided a steady start, but the middle order struggled to build partnerships. Shamphri Terang was later adjudged man of the match for his explosive batting display.
