The Wokha District Congress Committee (WDCC) held a programme for the launching and distribution of its newly printed calendar at the WDCC Office on October 11. The event was attended by N Wobenthung Lotha, PCC member of the 38th Wokha Assembly Constituency and former INC candidate, as the special invitee.
Addressing the gathering, Lotha expressed optimism over the growing strength of the Congress party, noting a steady rise in membership and a positive change in the political atmosphere. He remarked that even at the national level, the party appears to be regaining momentum and public confidence.

Appreciating the dedication and loyalty of the party workers, he encouraged them to continue working collectively as the next election approaches and urged them to adopt the “each one, catch one” approach to help expand the party’s reach and influence.
Speaking on the occasion, Chenithung Humtsoe, PCC member of the 40th Bhandari Assembly Constituency and member of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), reminded members that although the party has not been in power for more than two decades, it continues to work diligently. He called upon the members to remain steadfast and committed, stating that “the fruit of hard work always tastes better,” while urging them to strive towards the party’s long-term objectives.
The calendars, printed by the WDCC, were distributed free of cost and will be made available across all constituencies to highlight the progress and ongoing initiatives of the Congress party, it was informed.
