West Zone dominant run in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy with a commanding 126- run victory over North East Zone at the Sovima Cricket Ground. The highlight of the match was a blistering century from K P Navgire, who produced a match-winning performance for her team.

West Zone – Innings: 201/4 in 20.0 overs

After being put in to bat, West Zone showcased their batting firepower with an explosive start led by

K P Navgire, who smashed 112 runs off 58 ball, including a flurry of boundaries and sixes.

She was well supported by A A Patil, who remained unbeaten on 44 off 28 balls, ensuring West

Zone crossed the 200-run mark.

Despite the challenging conditions, S Jaba (1/21) and Primula (1/30) bowled with discipline for North

East Zone, but the batting onslaught proved too strong.

North East Zone – Innings: 75/8 in 20.0 overs

Chasing a daunting target of 202, North East Zone struggled to build momentum against West Zone’s disciplined bowling attack.

D D Dutta fought valiantly with 23 runs off 32 balls, but regular wickets derailed the chase.

For West Zone, A A Patil (2/13) was the pick of the bowlers, supported by economical spells from the rest of the attack.
