The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has expressed gratitude to the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC), Kingphu and Pangsha villagers for the solidarity and kindness shown in honouring the body of ‘Lieutenant’ (posthumous) Shetoi Yeptho of the NSCN/GPRN (Niki) of Surumi Village, who passed away on 2 July 2024 in Myanmar-occupied Naga territory.

In a press release, the WSH said that the selfless acts of wrapping the body of late Yeptho in a Khiamniungan shawl, carrying it across the border on foot and ensuring its safe passage, are a testament to the unwavering spirit of Naga brotherhood and unity.
