Will ceaselessly endeavour to do justice to the overwhelming mandate given in favor of me and the Congress Party: Lok Sabha MP Elect S Supongmeren Jamir extends gratitude

PCC President and newly elected Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir has expressed his gratitude to supporters, well wishers, entire team of the Congress family as well as the stakeholders and poll related personnel for their contribution in facilitating the delivery of another democratic mandate.

In a press statement issued today, Jamir acknowledged God for ‘His abundant Kindness, and for reminding us once again that all things are possible in Him”.

“I accept the verdict of the People of Nagaland with utmost gratitude and humility, and will ceaselessly endeavour to do justice to the overwhelming mandate given in favor of me and the Congress Party,” stated Jamir.

He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his supporters and well wishers, including the rank and file of the Congress Family in Nagaland and beyond, the Campaign Committee and the untold volunteers and individuals for their unwavering support and sacrifices throughout the campaign journey.

“This momentous victory is as much theirs as it is mine,” shared Jamir.

A special shoutout was also given to the Rising People’s Party for their camaraderie and rock solid partnership.

“I also extend my gratitude to the Civil Society and Church Organisations, the Media Fraternity and all poll related government officials for their invaluable contributions in facilitating the delivery of another democratic mandate,” stated Jamir.

He also thanked his fellow competing candidates for their spirited campaigns and look forward to their constructive and collaborative interventions as he set out to discharge his responsibilities in the service of the people of Nagaland and the Nation in general.

 

“I reaffirm my commitment to represent your interests and aspirations to the best of my abilities, from within and outside the hallowed halls of our Parliament,” added Jamir.
