The Western Naga Youth Front has issued an urgent public appeal regarding the missing case of Pesha Khiamniungan, a 19-year-old student of Class 11 at United Christian Higher Secondary School, Diphupar.

According to an official FIR registered at Diphupar Police Station on May 28, Pesha was missing since the afternoon of May 24, when he left home around 1:00 PM to meet friends and never returned. He was last seen riding a red scooty bearing registration number AS-12-G-6685, and his phone remained unreachable since Saturday evening.

“Despite the family’s best efforts and now police involvement, no progress has been reported in tracing his whereabouts. The lack of leads raises growing concern, not just for the family but for the wider community,” stated the WNYF in an appeal issued on May 30.
