WNYSU inspects GMS, PHC, shops in Wolam Nyukyan village

Noklak: Large quantity of expired items found and seized from shops during surprise check

The Wolam Nyukyan Students Union (WNYSU) of Wolam Nyukyan village (New Pangsha), Noklak district conducted surprise inspection of Government Middle School New Pangsha, Primary Health Centre and several business establishments in its area.

In a press release, WNYSU informed that during the inspection to GMS New Pangsha, it found that the school was facing acute shortage of manpower required to ensure quality delivery of quality education to the children. The union also regretted the discovery of lack of medical equipment at the Primary Health Centre.

Further, while checking various shops in Wolam Nyukyan, the representatives found and seized large quantity of expired items, thus preventing serious misfortune from happening to the public.

The students’ body mentioned that following the inspections, a joint consultative meeting was held at its office where WNYSU initiated a thorough deliberation on the concerning issues with every department committee of the village.
