Wokha DC invites opinions on the proposal to change “37 Tyui AC” to “37 TIYI AC”

Wokha: Draft list of polling stations accessible for inspection at DC Office & DEO office

Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan (IAS) is inviting suggestions or objections on the proposal for correction in the spelling for the 37th Tyui constituency from “37 Tyui AC” to “37 TIYI AC”.

Written suggestions or objections to the draft list and the proposed change of nomenclature (from 37 Tyui AC to 37 TIYI AC) should be sent to the DC Office Wokha on or before September 2nd, 2023, the notification stated. Any suggestions or objections received after the specified date will not be considered, it added.

The DC has also informed all stakeholders within Wokha district, including elected members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, political parties, and the general public that the publication of the draft list of polling stations under Section 25 of the RP Act 1951 for the following constituencies: 37th Tyui AC, 38th Wokha AC, 39th Sanis AC, and 40th Bhandari AC is now available.

A copy of this draft list is accessible for inspection at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer in Wokha, Nagaland, it said.
