The Wokha District Table Tennis Association (WDTTA) organised the Wokha District Table Tennis Championship cum Inter-School Table Tennis Championship 2025 at Youth Centre, DBHSS, Wokha. The two-day event opened on September 12 and will conclude on September 13.

ADC Wokha, Renbomo Ezung graced the inaugural function as Special Guest. Addressing the gathering, he urged the players to make the best use of the opportunity, stressing on the importance of discipline, commitment and consistency in both sports and life. He also conveyed best wishes to all the participants.

Earlier, Organising Secretary, James Ezung welcomed the players and highlighted the challenges faced by the Association in terms of infrastructure and resources. He expressed optimism that with greater community support, table tennis can grow stronger in the district.

The championship features both district and inter-school categories, with players from different schools and localities competing.
