The ADC and Executive Officer of Wokha Town Council (WTC), Renbomo Ezung, has notified that the Council has revised the prevailing Trade Permit rate of the shop ‘A’, ‘B ‘& ‘C’ grade category with effect from 1st January 2025.

The Order stated that the revision had been made “to provide a structured approach in categorizing business establishment based on the measurement of the acquired business area and employee count.”

Further, the WTC has directed all shops and business establishment within the Wokha Town Council jurisdiction to renew their Trade Permit License on or before 15th February 2025. Failing to renew the trade license will invite penalty and appropriate actions will be initiated as per the provision of the law, it added.
