Mount Tiyi College, Wokha organised the third edition of its annual Kite Flying Festival on Thursday at Witter Theological College Ground, Vankhosung, Wokha.
Sentimenla Jamir, Vice Principal, Mount Tiyi College, Wokha, in her speech shared about life lessons one can learn from kite flying like perseverance, patience and being focussed in life.

The first prize of the Most Innovative Kite (male category) of 2023 Kite Flying Festival was awarded to W. Odyuo while Vungthungo came second. In the female category, Wonchibeni Odyuo and Rosy O. Ezung won the first and second prize respectively.
The Best Pilot (male) was won by Zuthungbemo Patton, while Chanchilo and her co-pilot Renbilo won the best pilot (female category).
Earlier, a short program was held before kick starting the activity which was chaired by Dr. I. Koktiba Sangtam, Assistant Professor. Dr T Nzan Ngullie, Principal, Wokha Theological College invoked God’s blessing. Dr Libemo Kithan, Associate Professor, pronounced the vote of thanks.
