In yet another horrific incident in Kohima , an unknown miscreant reportedly assaulted and robbed a woman at around 9-9:30 pm in Agri Farm Colony, Lane 5 last week while she was returning from Church.

The woman was assaulted and robbed while returning home. The perpetrator hit the victim on the head with a wooden object from the back, snatched her purse, and fled the scene.

The movement of the miscreant has been captured on CCTV camera footage. However, the identity of the culprit remains unknown. The police are currently investigating the matter and reviewing the footage to track down the suspect.

The incident has raised concerns about safety in the area. The Agri Farm Youth Organisation (AFYO) has also advised the residents to be vigilant and urged concerned authorities to deliver justice to the victim.
