A one-day Workshop for Families of People with Disabilities was organised by the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities on July 26 under the theme ‘Navigating the Journey Together’.

The aim of the workshop was to’build a community of support through sharing of experiences, resources, and encouragement. The keynote was delivered by State Commissioner Diethono Nakhro.

Resource Persons Daniel Thong Seb and Chubarenla Longchari shared their journey on Parenting a Child with Disability, and Clinical Psychologist Imlibenla Mongro spoke on Navigating through Emotions and Stress.

Bendangla Kikon of NAPAD and Inatoli V. Zhimo also gave brief presentations on their experiences.
