One day Workshop on Prime Minister National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (PM-NAPS) was held at Town Hall, Tuensang on November 26 with Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa as Special Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner thanked and appreciated the Directorate of Employment & Skill Development for organizing such workshop for the students of Tuensang. She stated that we cannot always dependent on the Government for employment and this is a good opportunities for the students to get themselves in skills training for a better future.
Citing that many Nagas are employed in Mainland India with different profession in the field of hospitality, she encouraged the gathering to opt for skill development training which gives opportunities for employment and placement.

Other highlights of the workshop were welcome address by John Anar, Employment Officer Tuensang, Opening remarks by Er H Alongse Joint Directo,r DoESDE, presentation on PM-NAPS by Pravin Yadav and a vote of thanks delivered by Khitenlo Apon.
