The World Environment Day was held on Wednesday by Holy Cross School Saksi Tuensang, along with the students and teachers with the theme “Protect the balance of nature in the environment”.

Muno Khiamniungan, Headmaster,Holy Cross School, highlighted the importance of protecting the environment as it is one of the most important tools for our survival on plant earth.

“It nurtures us and helps everyone survive as one cannot imagine life without air, water and soil. On this day people come together to protect and balance nature,” said Khiamniungan who encouraged all the students to keep their environment clean, greenery and for a prosperous future.

The students also participated in the mass social at school campus and surrounding, and were encouraged to plant one sapling each.
