Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton and Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, called om Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, in Guwahati on Thursday.
In a post on X, Patton said that they discussed issues significant to the development and prosperity of both Assam and Nagaland and that they “explored ways to strengthen ties and work towards shared goals.”
“I look forward to continued cooperation and joint initiatives that will benefit our states and uplift the lives of our people,” Y Patton added.
The Assam Chief Minister’s Office also informed that Sarma, Patton and Along “engaged in a range of issues concerning the development and progress of both states.”
