The Yimkhiung Festival Tsüngkamnyu celebrated from January 15 to 17 at Yimkhiung Heritage Village Mündün concluded with MLA & Chairman, DPDB Tuensang Imtichoba as the Guest of Honour. Asserting that Tsungkamnyu Festival is a festival of forgiveness Imtichoba called upon the gathering to say ‘no to drugs, but yes to Tsüngkamnyu’ while celebrating their festival.

The Host of the festival, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger Advisor, Fire & Emergency Service, Home Guard & Civil Defence exhorted the people not to encourage drugs but to live a drug free society, informed the DIPR.

A short speech was delivered by SP Shamator Khruosutho, and invocation was proposed by Rev. Fr. Obed Yimkhiung, Vice Principal St. Joseph College Jakhama. The welcome address was delivered by Hanji, Vice President Convenor Local committee. Tsüngkamnyu Thüshiso by Ashi & Ayin Yimkhiung and Folk Song by Leangkonger Village were presented. Further, the vote of thanks was pronounced by Kinan, Social & Cultural Secretary YTC & Member secretary Local committee while Keyongkhum, President YAA was the compere of the program
