A District Level Youth Parliament, organized under the Viksit Bharat initiative, was held on August 6, 2025, at Zisaji Presidency College. The event featured a dynamic debate on the theme “Emergency Period in India,” providing a platform for young minds to engage in thoughtful discussions and develop their critical thinking skills.

The program was spearheaded by three different higher secondary schools in the district, with a focus on empowering youth to contribute to the development of the nation. Following the debate, participants took part in a Tree Plantation Drive, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

This initiative aimed to nurture leadership skills, foster critical thinking, and encourage civic engagement among young people. By providing a platform for youth to express their views and ideas, the District Level Youth Parliament played a significant role in shaping the next generation of leaders and citizens.
