The Federal Council of the Yimkhiung Tribe in a press statement on October 27 has resolved that no Naga National Political Group(s) will be allowed to levy tax to the local businessman/entrepreneurs (i.e.Yimkhiungs) under Yimkhiung Jurisdiction with immediate effect.

The statement stated that the decision has been made to encourage and uplift the local entrepreneurs.
