The Zeliang Students Union (ZLSU) has officially announced the temporary halt to its planned second phase of agitation while maintaining momentum with the ongoing first phase.
“This decision reflects the union’s commitment to constructive dialogue with educational authorities regarding urgent issues affecting the government schools in its district by the recent rationalization,” stated the ZLSU media cell in a press release issued today.
Expressing commitment to seek constructive solutions, the Union believed that pausing the second phase will allow for further dialogue with officials to address the demands surrounding teacher retention or replacement effectively.
